Welcome back my friends from a long hiatus! I have returned from a frankly crazy year to share a new plan with some new goals. One of these is my Quest of Art!
Earlier in the month I was sitting and have breakfast with my darling husband and son. We were enjoying our eggs when my ex sister in law came to join us. She was venting about how one of her favorite local artists was being denied entry to the local arts meeting. Her art was, in Autumns words “too provocative”.
I was struck by a sudden burst of inspiration! I want to make provocative erotic art. As often happens when I am struck by an idea, I started to research, ask professionals, and plan.
Here is the plan. I am going to spend a year making erotic art. I will be drawing, painting, using clay, taking pictures, and even making videos and collages. I want to try many mediums. Then I am going to gather my pieces at the end of the year (so August 2026) and create a one night only art gallery showing off my year. I will invite my friends and family to enjoy and bid on the different arts.
Each week my goal is to share what I have been making, what my lessons are, and overall how this quest is moving forward.
