Romantic Date With Andy

Good morning, my darling cherubs!

It feels like a gazillion years since we last chatted, and oh boy, do we have some catching up to do! But before we dive into the delicious details of our lives, and you know I’m all ears for your latest shenanigans, I just HAVE to gush about the whimsically wonderful day trip I went on with my snuggle-muffin hubby.

We frolicked like giddy tourists at the Andy Warhol art museum in Pittsburgh, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of fabulous! My one and only Horatio dared me to experience this art museum adventure in a way I never had before. We tossed timelines and histories out the window and simply immersed ourselves in the magnificent art.

Now, Horatio is more of an art aficionado than I am, so he guided me through the gallery with the grace of a swan. He pointed out the intricacies of the lines, the playful dance of the colors, and even educated me on the difference between a stamp and a print with a splash of paint. And would you believe it, there was even a painting with pee on it! Talk about avant-garde, am I right?

This whirlwind tour turned out to be the speediest museum jaunt of my life, but it was so delightful that I didn’t bat an eyelash when I realized we’d only been there for an hour and a half or so. We then treated ourselves to a scrumptious late lunch, holding hands and giggling like lovestruck teenagers before heading home to bask in the warmth of our family.
